In the context of the 2015 Call for proposals Erasmus+ Sector Skills Alliances, coordinators of selected projects were invited by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) to participate in a kick-off meeting in Brussels on the 26th of January 2017.
Indeed, 15 coordinating partners from 6 different sectors, such as agriculture, construction and art, were invited. IPERIA l’Institut, as coordinating partner for the PRODOME project (PROfessionalising DOMestic housekeepers in Europe) was the only representative of the personal care services sector.
Participants received practical information concerning project management, such as financial and administrative management or internal and external communication for the project. After questions were answered by experts from different departments of the EACEA, several working groups were organised in order to reflect on key issues, such as the inclusion of IT skills in training programmes or adapting professional competences to the labour market to reinforce employability.
A similar event will be scheduled in autumn to continue to facilitate and consolidate exchanges and communication between projects.
